The npEnterprise Forum is the global,moderated, free listserv of almost 7000 subscribers who discuss practical ways social enterprises (SEs) can advance their social or environmental missions through entrepreneurial strategies. Regardless of your affiliation -- nonprofit, forprofit, hybrid, government, or individual entrepreneur -- if you're interested in social enterprise, you're welcome here.  According to the Social Enterprise Alliance, a social enterprise is any organization (or activity within an organization) that "harnesses the power of the marketplace to solve critical social or environmental problems."

This listserv is a cordial forum for discussion among colleagues about SE, rather than a vehicle for fundraising or promoting particular organizations, services, events, resources, or job openings.

The npEnterprise Forum is the official listserv partner of the Social Enterprise Alliance (www.se-alliance.org).  The moderators reserve the right to select and edit for length and clarity messages for distribution to the list, and to publish archived messages with proper attribution in other venues.  Please note that since we distribute a maximum of one message per day to subscribers, it may take a week or two for a given message to go to the list.
